Watchful captures a quiet, protective moment between a mare and her foal, standing together in the water. Drawn in charcoal with careful attention to light, reflection, texture, and expression, the piece is meant to feel both peaceful and powerful — a portrait of connection, trust, and instinct.
The original artwork was created over more than 40 hours, with some of the smallest details built gradually through layers of charcoal, blending, and erased highlights. From the softness of the foal’s face to the mare’s wet muzzle and the movement of the water, every detail was drawn by hand.
Each fine art print is produced from a professional high-resolution scan of the original artwork on archival giclée paper, preserving the depth and subtle detail of the charcoal.

Still We Walk
Two horses move quietly forward through a landscape of light and shadow — side by side, unhurried and together.
Still We Walk is a charcoal drawing about perseverance, companionship, and the quiet strength found in simply continuing on. The horses are framed by branches and softened atmosphere, while the light ahead draws them forward, creating a sense of both distance and hope.
This piece reflects one of the themes that appears often in my work: light emerging from darkness, and the beauty that can exist somewhere between where we have been and where we are going.

Ancient Soul
This piece holds a very personal place in my heart.
Elephants were my mom’s favorite animal, and after losing her, drawing this felt like a quiet way of keeping a small piece of her close. I was drawn to the elephant’s weathered skin, gentle eye, and quiet strength — qualities that somehow made the piece feel even more meaningful as it came to life.
Ancient Soul is more than a portrait to me. It is a tribute, a memory, and a reminder that the people we love continue to leave their imprint on us long after they are gone. Does not include frame.

After years away from drawing, returning to art became a way of rediscovering a part of myself I thought I had lost. That experience still shapes the way I create today: slowly, intentionally, and always searching for the light within the darkness.
